Nothing To GiveI walk through the city
And stare down the street
Helpless people on the ground
Is what my eyes meet
They seem so hurt
Broken and wallowing in defeat
And i wonder to myself
If they have anything to eat
As i get closer
I realize just how thin
Their frail bodies
Seem easy to bend
I see a young girl
Digging in the trash
She looks to be white
But her skin is the color of ash
I look past her
And again to the ground
Starving bodies seem to lay
In an endless mound
I begin to think
And then to cry
I have so much to eat
While these people barley get by
I remember
How much i had yesterday
And i wondered to myself

Why do you let one girl
